Apple has applied for getting patents for some of its innovations in the fields of iPod. This has been made public The United States Patent and Trademark Office when they published the applications of Apple related to this. The patents have been asked for an innovative new method for iPod Nano charging, a removable case that could help the users in a Windy city and some new designs of the battery.

The application was filed in 2011 and Apple Company has been looking for the new ways to keep the iPod system cordless by not using the 30-pin dock connector any more and it is all set to use the electrical terminals which are there on the back of the Nano. This clip can have one or more terminals which could be used to transfer data and to charge the system when the Nano is docked.

Currently this clip has no other use except for holding the device onto the clothes or any other places where it gets clipped. The Apple is also planning to have an iPod case with a wind screen. This technology will prevent the device from having disturbances from noise, moisture and dust. All these changes are expected in the Apple’s device this fall.
