Fix Your Cellphone or iPod for Just $20 or $30

We have all dropped our cellular phones many times.

A few of the more-perceptive smartphones can smash with ease. So what if you don’t have mobile phone insurance or you don’t wish to spend much? Here are some ways to fix your cellular phone at a fraction of the cost.

The do-it-yourself movement has taken over. Recently, it’s all in relation to DIY, from fixing your home to fixing your handset.

De’Andre Snyder ruined the monitor on his iPod. When Apple asked him that it would charge $200 to mend it, Snyder determined to take affairs into his individual hands.

You can purchase smart phone repair kits on the web for just $20 or $30.

The majority of kits come with a novel screen and small tools. You watch a video on YouTube and then begin the procedure.

“It was harder than I thought it was gonna be. When I actually saw the video it looked easy, but when I actually tried it, it looked harder,” said Snyder.

David Atchison was not rather so winning at fixing his shattered iPhone screen.

“This thing was more complex than any laptop that I’ve ever taken apart. That was a waste of four hours and I thought I knew what I was doing,” said Atchison of Hudson.

“Eighty percent of our business is shattered screens. Ten percent is water damage. People drop their phones in the sink or toilet or whatever. Luckily they bring it to us. The other 10 percent is a grab bag of missing buttons, speakers, batteries, things like that,” Tom Jenkins, owner of Phone Ambulance in Ohio.

Phone Ambulance assures a major savings on electronic repairs. They charge approximately $120 for a fractured iPhone screen.
