If you are among the regular users of the iPhone, iPad or iPod and is looking for something more with your device they just check out the latest tool for iOS which had more than million downloads in last few days.

The tool Absinthe 2.0 will comfortably work with almost all the iOS 5- compatible devices with the exception in few models of iPad 2 which come along with 32-nanometer chipset. If you are wondering if anyone with the least technical background can use it the answer is yes. What is needed to work with the latest tool is patience and few mouse clicks. The steps to be followed are-

  • The Absinthe 2.0 has to be downloaded into the system. Once downloaded, it has to be installed and opened. The iOS device has to be connected to the computer using a USB and iTunes has to be opened so that the users can take the back up. The backup can be taken for the local hard disk or for iCloud. The photos and the videos will not be backed up so iPhoto or Photo stream has to be used for that.
  • The next is to wipe the entire system using the Erase All Content option and Settings and believe there is nothing to worry. Once the back up is taken and the system is cleaned, it is time to launch the Absinthe and the users will get a “Jailbreak” button. Once clicked, the process will take some time.
  • Once the jailbreak process is over, the user must open the iTunes back up and restore the contents from the backup. The system should be rebooted once the restoration of the backup is complete. Now there will an icon named Cydia. No wonder this application will have all the themes and other applications which will make the jailbreaking a fun-filled experience for the users.
  • On the system, the existing applications may be needed to be arranged manually and the missing ones can be taken in the iTunes App Store using the Updates Tab.

The new users may take some time to become comfortable with Cydia. Use the Featured list and look at the various themes available. The things are categorized by Cydia and what is needed by the user is a patient browsing and then installing the ones which are the suitable ones for the use.
