The iPod Touch with 8GB capacity is now available at a price of $199 instead of $229. In the year 2010, the deal that was considered the best in the market for owing the iPod Touch 4G with 8GB capacity on Black Friday was $199 and that too without a gift card.
The newer iPod has miniscule hardware changes compared to the previous model. The only visible changes are that the product is available in white and also comes with iOS 5.
Considering the fact that Apple has not offered much with regards to changes, there are speculations in the market that the new iPod Touch could have its pricing set set at a much lower rate.
