The company announced on Monday that its apps are getting significant updates for nine newspapers of Canada making the same accessible on the iPod touch and iPhones.
The apps can be used by readers to go through newspapers like Vancouver Province, Vancouver Sun, Edmonton Journal, Calgary Herald, Saskatoon StarPhoenix, Regina Leader-Post, Montreal Gazette, Windsor Star and Ottawa Citizen with their Apple devices anytime and anywhere.
Postmedia Network has also announced launching its Dose.ca app for iPod touch and iPhone. This app supplies users with latest movie and entertainment news along with all celebrity gossips.
The apps have been made available in App Stores.
With this app, Postmedia readers can access entertainment, national, international as well as local news from their Apple devices.
Features like real-time alerts on latest news have also been provided.
Photo galleries can also be browsed by users for choosing the news they wanted to read. They also get to view headline-making pertaining to their neighborhoods, get weather updates or watch highlights of sporting events and also get quick and easy access to related stories.
Social networks are also connected to easily by the apps with users sharing stories through Facebook, email and Twitter.
