PlayFirst, a major developer of family-friendly mobile games, launched Mall Stars yesterday, a unique strategy game that offers fast-paced fun and engaging game play. The game is available on the iPod Touch, the iPhone and the iPad and can be downloaded from the App Store.
Mall Stars also brings with it PlayFirst’s new StarRequest framework. The StarRequest Framework is basically a smart recommendation engine that offers a more personalized experience to the players, on the basis of how much they have progressed in the game. This advanced layer of strategy significantly improves the game play mechanics in the Mall Stars game, offering an exciting new experience of fast-paced fun.
In the Mall Stars game, you have to build and customize your malls for great VIP customers- the ‘Stars’. Each of these ‘Stars’ have their own personal attractions and favorite products. You need to fill your malls with many must-have products and other attractions, thus exciting he Stars into starting off on frantic Shopping Frenzies, earning you special bonuses.
These ‘Stars’ include Duncan Hoops, an iconic sporting legend, who prefers to shop at Sports-a-Holic for his favorite products; Cathy Cashian, a reality show starlet who loves the latest fashions which she purchases from the Louie Baton boutique; Dee Jay Beats, the star of the hip hop world; Brock A.
