Taking forward Altec typical design of distinctive-looking speaker docks, the lightweight iMT630 sports slim yet curvy design that is available in many trim colours. It also comes with a built-in rechargeable battery which, according to Altec, gives up to 7 hours of playtime. Like most other speaker docks from Altec Lansing, the company’s free iOS apps enhance the capabilities of the docking device, such as the Alarm Rock and the Music Mood apps of which the former offers an ambient sound library for when you’re just chilling out, along with a graphic equalizer that lets you adjust treble and bass levels.
Altec Lansing is known for making pretty good portable speaker docks and for its size, the iMT630 does give pretty decent sound output.
