Warning: If you can’t stand the thought of insane self-surgeries, this news might be a bit too hardcore for you. Dave Hurban, a tattoo artist working in Newfield, N.J., apparently performed a surgery on his own hand to insert magnets under his skin, which will hold his iPod Nano in place on his wrist, like a wristwatch. Obviously, he remains oblivious to the fact that you can get straps to do just that!
Hurban is a tattoo artist working in collaboration with Kaleidoscope Kreative, an advertising and Web design and development company. He has a background of working with pointy things that do painful stuff to the average human, so that explains how he came up with such an insane idea. But this project, titled ‘iDermal’, is really pushing it too far. Explains how insane Apple products turn people!
Watch the video to see Dave measuring his iPod Nano, marking the spots on his wrist, and then actually drilling into his hand in order to place the 4 magnets. Not something to be watched while you’re eating or feeling sick.
